DEAR LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,
In connection with the implementation of activity 5 Training “Skillful and useful” of project proposal CB005.2.23.004 “Sozopol and Edirne – united for culture and tourism” and Contract № 18 / 21.12.2020, we invite those who want to join the craft trainings to submit their applications.
Training in 4 crafts (jewelry, weaving, knitting and embroidery) is provided. The trainings will be in groups of 4 trainees.
The trainings in knitting and embroidery will be held for 14 days (min 2 hours / day), while in jewelry and weaving – for 14 days (8 hours / day).
The trainings will be held in the town of Sozopol.
The tools, materials and consumables needed for the trainings will be provided by the project. The trainings are free for all participants.
The activity aims to promote and stimulate the preservation of crafts from the local way of life and culture.
The purpose of these trainings is not only to preserve crafts, but also to create opportunities for modern people to find their hobby. During the trainings the trainees should make products, which will remain as samples of ritual souvenirs.

The project is funded by the INTERREG-IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Bulgaria – Turkey Programme 2014-2020, priority axis 2 “Tourism”, specific objective 2.3 Increasing the network for development of sustainable tourism in partnership with the Directorate of Museum Edirne.
