DEAR LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,

In connection with the implementation of activity 5 Training “Skillful and useful” of project proposal CB005.2.23.004 “Sozopol and Edirne – united for culture and tourism” and Contract № 18 / 21.12.2020, we invite trainers to conduct trainings on crafts – jewelry, weaving, knitting and embroidery.

Training in 4 crafts (jewelry, weaving, knitting and embroidery) is provided. The trainings will be in groups of 4 trainees.

The trainings in knitting and embroidery will be held for 14 days (min 2 hours / day), and in jewelry and weaving – for 14 days (8 hours / day).

The trainings will be held in the town of Sozopol.

The tools, materials and consumables needed for the trainings will be provided.

The activity aims to promote and stimulate the preservation of crafts from the local way of life and culture.

The purpose of these trainings is not only to preserve crafts, but also to create opportunities for modern people to find their hobby. During the trainings the trainees should make products, which will remain as samples of ritual souvenirs. The souvenirs will be given as a gift to the couples getting married in the ritual hall, which houses an exhibition of authentic costumes “The Wedding”, realized in implementation of a previous project under the Programme.

If the proposal is of interest to you, please submit your application for participation as a trainer, accompanied by the necessary supporting documents: CV, copy of documents proving experience in particular craft (diploma, labour record, certificates, etc.). Each candidate should present his / her own training methodology and a list of the necessary tools, materials and consumables for the qualitative training for 4 trainees.
